Before becoming a massage therapist, I danced with American Ballet Theatre, Feld Ballet and Ballet du Nord in France.

My move into massage was a practical one at first: I needed to make a living while going to Brown University. It also dovetailed perfectly with my lifelong interest in the human body and what it can do. I trained at the Swedish Institute in New York and have been a massage therapist since 1991.

For more than 15 years, until 2019, I also wrote about dance for Ballet Review.

In 2018 I published a memoir, “B Plus, Dancing for Mikhail Baryshnikov at American Ballet Theatre.”

I cycle, run, practice yoga and play golf, and I continue to evolve as a person and as a therapist.
